Early in 2019 Ridgewall adopted a buy and build strategy to acquire several specialist managed IT and communication companies and integrate them together. This plan saw Ridgewall acquire Connecting London, Telnet International and Nomis Connections; all having established management teams, experienced and expert employees, operationally efficient systems and longstanding customer relationships.
In November 2019, Inflexion Private Equity invested in Ridgewall and backed the simultaneous acquisition of QDOS-sbl, a specialist provider of managed IT and communications to the hospitality industry.
The combined group now employs over 100 people, working together to provide excellent customer service to roughly 1,800 customers. September 1st marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the group, launching as one with a refreshed brand identity that mirrors the groups future aspirations.
Simon Catterick, Chief Commercial Officer, said “we’re proud of all that has been achieved in the past by the separate group businesses and the legacy which we will now build upon, offering a joined-up service to our clients, nationwide. They will now be served by one team, that together will be greater than the sum of its parts. This should help us deliver ever improving levels of service and support, and together we will achieve more for our clients, and our stakeholders”.
Dominic McAnaspie, Chief Executive Officer said “in bringing together five leading specialist IT & Communications companies, we believe we have a fit-for-purpose, scalable and efficient structure for Ridgewall to prosper. Working with Inflexion we are actively looking to develop the business further, with several acquisitions underway. In the meantime, our newly converged team, is focused on a common goal; to be the best that we can be.”
